All prices are subject to GST.
What payments do you accept?
We accept cash, debit, all major credit cards and e-transfers. Most conveniently, you can save your credit card information on your Jane account (online booking system) and pre-pay for your appointment in advance, allowing you to walk right out of your session without taking out your wallet.
Direct the bill Direct Billing & Insurance Information
We offer direct billing to most insurance providers for your convenience. To ensure a smooth process, please review the following:
Primary vs. Secondary Insurance
Please indicate whether your plan is primary or secondary when completing your intake form.
We are only able to direct bill to your primary insurance plan. Any remaining balance can be submitted to your secondary provider by you with the receipt.
Spouse/Dependent Coverage
If your primary coverage is under a spouse or partner, we require:
- Their first and last name
- Their date of birth
For plans through Sun Life, a signed authorization form from your spouse/partner is required before we are able to direct bill.
Coverage & Requirements
Insurance policies vary. Please confirm that your plan covers your treatment, as some providers may require:
- A doctor’s note or prescription
- Pre-approval for certain services
If documentation is required, you may upload it to your Jane account or email it to admin@luminescenthealing.ca prior to your appointment.
Submitting Your Insurance Information
When completing your online intake form through Jane, you will be prompted to upload a photo of the front and back of your insurance card.
At your appointment, you will also be asked to:
- Sign consent for electronic billing
- Sign your insurance authorization form
- Provide a piece of valid ID for verification
If you are unable to upload your insurance details, you may select “none” and bring your card with you to your appointment.
Important
If a claim is denied or not fully covered, the remaining balance is the client’s responsibility. Payment can be made through:
- Your Jane account
- A credit card on file
- E-transfer

Simple Online Booking, All in One Place
We use Jane, a secure and user-friendly platform, for all client bookings, intake forms, payments, and direct billing.
To get started, you’ll need to create a Jane account. You can sign up using your email or log in with your existing Google account. All online booking links on our website will direct you to the Jane platform.
Once your account is set up, you’ll be able to:
- Book, reschedule, or cancel appointments
- Complete your health history
- View invoices and manage balances
- Access your receipts and treatment records
After booking, you’ll receive your health history intake form to complete online. When you arrive, we’ll have you sign it in person along with any required consent forms.
